I took a picture inside a bonsai tree

Timothy and I went to the Huntington Gardens yesterday, to take some reference pics for a project I'm working on. We went through the bonsai garden and I managed to snap this pic before the security guy kicked me out (I jumped over to the other side of the viewing area to snap it):

I only had time for one shot, which was slightly out of focus but I'm happy with it. The greatest thing is where this was located: inside a hollow, beautiful bonsai tree:

Since I was carrying an 18mm to 300mm lens, to get it right I had to zoom almost all the way in and stand back, so it was really hard to get the pic without shaking everywhere.

Ink Drawings

I've been practicing using a pure black in pen, with brush tip, straight on without using construction lines or underdrawings. It's messy, but decidedly final and that makes it feel good. These poses are 5 minutes (heads) and 2 minutes (bodies).
